Just you and the hares!

We spent 4 nights on this site. The entrance is down a farm track that disappears down the hill and out of view. Entry on to the site is good. There is over 2 acres to choose from so you should take some time deciding where you want to set up. We opted for the highest point which gave us views over the amazing Lincolnshire countryside - with Lincoln Cathedral on the horizon and Belmont TV transmitter on the next hill! We spent most of our stay 'chilling' in the fresh air outside the caravan and reading - although we did take a walk down to near-by Goulceby and the Three Horseshoes. Throughout our stay we were entertained by the local hare population who were aware of our presence but not scared enough to run away - even from a German Shepherd on her lead! There is the usual water and chemical deposal points with several bins for land fill and recycling; an information board was a little out of date. The lane is rutted but the farmer was working to smooth it out during our stay. The grass was low cut but not collected - hardly surprising considering the size of the field! We were joined by 2 other units during our stay but because of the space available there was no feeling of crowding. This is a site away from everything, it gives you the chance to unwind and be calm.
