Perfect cl

Coming from Tintagel the Point golf village on your right few hundred yards on you will see caravan club sign on left gravel forecourt with two cottages and two static caravans cl field to your right private lovely countryside views , rustic wc with basin with hot & cold water , electric points around plentiful and attached tap to each. Top of field the flattest there is a slight slope but nothing ramps can not manage (also wooden ones scattered around for use). The only people that we saw in our week stay were fellow campers in our field, caravan next to us had a dog which they walked in field opposite entrance which is also route to Polzeath via golf course. If you come out of entrance and follow lane down left you come to St Minver (bus service to Wadebridge more or less every 2 hours) If you take right turn as roads sweeps before St Minver takes you to Rock also other ways to Rock coast path from Polzeath and also path from golf clubhouse via Pitymead. To summarise what CL’s all about and Barbara lovely lady it’s perfect.

Quiet CL with good views

A quiet CL with nice views over the surrounding countryside, well positioned for drives out to Polzeath and Rock. We found the site not good for dog walking as you have to cross golf courses to get anywhere. The site slopes - it was difficult to level our campervan. The entrance is tricky. The field has no gate and it was used as overflow parking for visitors to the nearby house or static caravan, which I found intrusive.

Campervan Visit April 2023

Sloping grass field with no secure gate at entrance from surrounding farm & static vans. Plenty of EHU & water points and good views. Well placed for accessing surrounding countryside including coast. We were the only unit on site when we visited and people from the neighbouring statics used the fiel to walk their dog & turn their vehicles. We did not see the owner at all but were out much of the days.

Beautiful place

It's worth risking the Cornish lanes to get here because the view is wonderful and there are some decent dog walks from the site. (It was a shame that we shared the site with dog owners who didn't clear up their mess). It's a good place to enjoy the double delights of Rock and Padstow, courtesy of the ferry.

Relaxing break

Lovely little CL, you do need levelling blocks. Plenty of electric hook ups and water taps and plenty of space. Easy walk into Polzeth over field opposite and golf course nearly all off rd. Plenty f walking but a bit hilly for cycling but you are very close to the coast. We will be back thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night break.

Lovely site

We stayed here for 6 nights in early July, we were very fortunate to have gorgeous weather and with plenty of beaches and walks around, we made the most of them. The local villages and pubs are very good as is the site, very clean, lovely views, peaceful etc. Would recommend and we shall certainly go back there.

Really Good Quiet CL

I have just spent 8 nights here. This is a good little site, with plenty of hook up options and water supply. The grass was nice and short, and a clean toilet on site. The block doesn't look great from outside, but is better than expected inside. You must follow the instructions to get there, there are two shorter options which can be used with the car, but not with the caravan in tow, We had gale force winds, but hidden behind the hedge allowed us to keep our awning up. We were right next to one of the minor roads, but this is not heavily used, and certainly not a raceway - you won;t be disturbed by it. Owner is off site, so don't go knocking on doors, like I did. The occupier was friendly, but it's clearly it's not fair to disturb them. The only disappointment is that this site was not full. We were on our own for two nights, It had 4 pitches used on 1 night only, which for early August is not best to keep CL's open.

Gem of a CL

Stayed for 9 nights and would have been longer if not fully booked. Large site and pitches well spaced. Barbara the owner keeps the toilet block clean and bins and recycling area clean. Good location for walking and beaches (Polzeath and Daymer for dog friendly. Lots to do nearby and fantastic views from the site. Will be back!

Enjoyed our stay

Lovely quiet site with pleasant views. Excellent base for walking from. Friendly owners, note ; levelling blocks are required, (fortunately the owner has a number of breeze blocks around the site which I needed despite having levelling blocks) The toilet facility is kept in an excellent state and we would definitely stay here a again if we visit this part of Cornwall.
