I’m reluctant to say too much about this site as I don’t want hoards of people overwhelming what is a really gorgeous, tranquil place to stay! We spent 9 nights here this week and it was just excellent. When we arrived John came with our box of tricks for the Freesat TV and helped us set up. There is water on every pitch and hard standing for 3 units. The dustbin/recycling area is nicely set up and in good weather there is a fire pit and table for eating out! All the sanitary facilities are kept scrupulously clean and sanitised in these exceptionally difficult times. We had a fabulous time walking in the area, in Coed-y-Brendan National Park and in the surrounding area. There are walks from the site on the Mary Jones way and various forest tracks for mountain biking. Dolgellau has a couple of small supermarkets. We would most definitely return as we love Snowdonia and this is a lovely CL to use as a base for visiting the area. Myfanwy and John could not do enough to ensure our stay was one of the best on a CL that we have experienced. Thank you!
