Peaceful site in convenient location

This site deserves a more recent review, to confirm what earlier reviewers have said: it's a well kept peaceful site, conveniently located near to the A55, but with no traffic noise. Superb beaches and other attractions on the west side of Anglesey are within easy reach, and the retail park with Tesco, Morrisons and Argos etc is only 10 mins away. Due to it's location near the A55, it's well placed for access to all of Anglesey and the coastal paths around the island. The site itself is fairly level, and there has been a recent upgrade to include a toilet and shower block, with a separate room for each, a bonus for a CL. The outlook is over a field; the top of Holyhead Mountain can be seen from most pitches. Turning in and out of the site isn't a problem, although the road to Capel Gwyn is single track with a couple of passing places, but that's only quarter of a mile so don't let that put you off. We would definitely come here again, it was well placed for us visiting an Aunt in Holyhead and enjoying the local coastal scenery too.

Superb location for touring Anglesey

This is a well kept site with lovely views towards Holy Island and its prominent mountain. Access to the actual site is easy, although the approach lane (which is quiet) is a little narrow. Access to the A55 could hardly be easier, yet this site is very quiet. There is no hard-standing but despite significant rainfall during our two week stay in September, the grass remained firm. If, like us, you were thinking of walking around the island, and you wanted a base to go from then we don't think you will do any better than stay here.

Arrived on Friday evening for a couple of nights stay, owner not around, so set up pitch, water and waste easily located. 1 other caravan on site at time, considerate parking would be required if site was full as all hook-ups are located against fence line. A very peaceful cl, with out look to open fields. Level grass site, recycling cavities in different bins. WC available to if required, take your own loo paper. Although near to A55 there is no traffic noise, lane to get to the site is a little narrow but there are plenty of passing places. Holyhead only about 10 minutes away with Tesco & Morrisons just off the A55 for fuel and food. Would certainly use again if up in that area. Owner still not around when come to leave so posted money through letter box.
