Gorgeous CL

A gem of a CL, on arrival a welcome cup of tea on offer, never experienced this before. The site was lovely, beautiful view and large pitches with your own water supply. The toilet and shower were immaculately clean and there was a fridge freezer anyone to use. Colin, Clare, and Jordan were lovely, nothing was too much trouble. There were DVD's you could borrow and a few books. The Community shop was a godsend with a good range of products, the local villagers took it in turns to man the shop and were really friendly. The Exeter pub was just being re thatched and was a sight to behold when it was finished and was the perfect picture book pub both inside and out. We're hoping to stay at Uplands again soon and highly recommend the site as one of the best C L's We've visited. Thank you the Court family, and special thanks to the lovely Peter and Pretty who made us feel so welcome.

Enjoyed our stay

Thank you to Clare and Colin for a really enjoyable stay. Everything is as described. Being the first after the lockdown it was refreshing to find all the necessities for a safe stay in place, Clare and Colin where very helpful sorry we missed you when we left to say goodbye.

The perfect CL*****

What more can we say .... amazing views by day and starry nights as little light pollution, independent water tap for each pitch, large level pitches with good hard standing, large shower room kept immaculate but most of all the kind, considerate owners Colin, Claire and Jordan who go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay there. A true gem of a CL

We stayed here in our motorhome at the end of August. What a credit to the owners the site is. A fanastic welcome from Colin and Jordan, easily accessible pitches with lovely views, each with their own water. A spotlessly clean small bathroom and shower area with attached information room giving local info, extensive DVD library, A fridge/freezer to use and a book swap facility. The Exeter Inn pub just 200 yards up the road is now open and although not quite serving food yet, has been really well restored and looks great. Joan behind the bar could not have been more welcoming as were the locals, who all were the most friendly bunch I have ever come across. We will definately come back to Uplands and the Exeter Inn - very soon I hope & with friends! Mark & Debbie

Just Wonderful

We stayed here for 15 nights, and like all the other reviews have said it is just perfect. Lovely family run the site, Clare, Colin & Jordan, very welcoming and helpful. The views are lovely and the whole site is kept to a very high standard with great facilities, The fridge freezer was a god send. Unfortunately the local pub The Exmoor Inn was closed while we were there but should be opening very soon, so in the mean time would recommend The Bell in Chittlehampton Great food, Lovely garden friendly owners. We look forward to returning in the future. Denise, Howard & Dexter xx

Just perfect

Have just returned from another stay at this wonderful CL. It really is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Clare, Colin and Jordan give a warm and friendly welcome which immediately puts you at ease. They make it look easy but clearly work tremendously hard behind the scenes to make sure you enjoy your stay with spotless facilities and many 'extras' such as fridge/freezer, DVD and book library. We live it there and look forward to a third visit when we can find the time. Many thanks from Paul, Donna and Poppy.

Perfect

We were very impressed with all the work Clare and Colin have done since we visited three years ago to make this such a perfect CL. We stayed for six nights and it couldn’t have been better. The welcome was lovely with being offered tea or coffee, this was brought to us on a tray with biscuits, so welcoming after a journey. The views are lovely, The Stables (bathroom) have been well thought about, as you enter there is a fridge/freezer for caravaners to use, books, games and plenty of information; then you go through to the shower room - what a large space with a good sized shower, toilet and washbasin with several hooks, a chair and matching bath mats and towel. The recycling/rubbish is removed every day. As we said Perfect.
