Couldn't be better

I agree with everything that has been said in earlier reviews so I'll not repeat everything. This CL is just perfect with a lot of attention to detail and site maintenance. There are, however, a couple of points that I would like to make that might be helpful to members. If you are on pitch 5 the water tap is on one side of the pitch and the drain on the opposite side. This means that you may need an extension for your fresh water hose. The other point is the directions to the CL in the CaMC handbook. This guides you in from Launceston. This route can be very difficult through Launceston, especially with a caravan. There is also about a quarter of a mile long hill with a gradient of 1 in 5. This is about half a mile from the CL on a fairly narrow lane. I strongly recommend that the CL is approached from the opposite end. The roads are a lot better. Leave the A30 approximately 6 miles east of Launceston signed to Roadford Lake and Broadwoodwidger, . At the first T junction turn left and follow the road past the lake, (well worth a visit). Continue for about four miles on this road. At the next T junction turn left and follow the road for about 1½ miles. The CL is on the left. Much of this route has been totally resurfaced unlike many of the Devon roads! Just sorry we didn't see any of the beavers (although we saw all the dams and trees they has felled). There are innumerable species of birds, many coming to the onsite feeders. Thankyou Andy and Tina for creating and maintaining such a fantastic CL.
