Lovely little CL attached to a wonderful pub!

We spent three nights at this CL as a venue to meet up with brother and sister-in-law, and were not disappointed. The site is well laid out with easy access and mostly level pitches. Good electric hook-up. Only one water station which necessitates a very long hose for some pitches! [thankfully my brother had one!!] The location - near to Sizewell A nuclear power station [decommissioned] and Sizewell B [operational] did not spoil the break but rather enhanced it. This was the first time we had been 'up close' to such a power station. The beach is less than 100 metres from the site and provides excellent walking opportunities. There are numerous 'attractions' within easy driving. Southwold was brilliant and Mrs T's fish and chips at the harbour were the best ever tasted!!! The highlight is of course the pub! A traditional pub hosted exceptionally well by Trevor the landlord and his team. The food is very good and provides excellent value for money. We ate twice there. The Saturday carvery was outstanding and the al a carte menu offers a good choice of well prepared food. We look forward to returning.
