Lovely people, well kept site.

Only a short stay but would happily return. Lovely facilities and very warm welcome. Next time we shall come prepared to take advantage of their well stocked provisions.

A Relaxing Stay

Spent five nights at this lovely CL. Very relaxing site with excellent grass. Lots of room for five units but only three while we were there. Electricity excellent supply. Lucy is very welcoming and even posted an item back to me that I left behind. Good location for visiting the surrounding area. Will definitely return when in the area.

Lovely peaceful setting; friendly host

We had a very pleasant three night stay over the bank holiday weekend. The field is large and spacious - with electric and water points well spaced out. There was only a maximum of four 'vans at any one time while we were there, but it wouldn't be crowded with five (or more!). There was plenty of room for the kids (aged 4 and 2) to run about with their frisbee and ball. The field is largely flat and well kept. The welcome from Lucy was relaxed and friendly, allowing us to arrive and set up as we pleased. The site was easy to find and access was easy from decent roads. The site is on a working cow farm which didn't interupt the peaceful and tranquil area, with virtually no background noise. Five minute drive or a semi-decent stroll to Wedmore (couple of pubs, good village store), and a 20-30 minute drive to the beaches of Burnham and Brean. 15 minutes from the M5 also makes this a consideration for an overnight stop-over point. All in all, a very pleasant stay which we may well visit again in the future.

What a CL is all about

Lovely CL on a working farm. Spacious, well kept, field with tidy refuse and chem disposal area. My children (6, 4 and 3) loved playing outside with lots of room for the frisbee and ball. Lucy was very welcoming and we will use her CL again if in the area. Bring a fly swatter in summer as you are on a working farm!

Lovely quiet well kept site. Great views

This site is all that anyone could want at a cl. A very well mown site with water close to the vans and electric hook up. Lucy is very friendly and informative re the local area. A very short walk will take you onto the somerset levels, also Wedmore is a lovely stroll through the hamlet of Sand with tea, coffee shops and pubs as well. Lots of level cycling to be had on the levels. We enjoyed our stay so much we will be back again very soon. Many thanks, Eclipse1

Extremely well kept site

I agree wholeheartedly with the other reviews - an extremely well kept site. We stayed on our way up country and again on the way back with only 4 nights in between and the grass had been cut again - it was well mowed when we arrived the first time and the clippings had been collected so there was no messy grass to tread into the van!! It really is an exceptional spacious site with attention given to detail. The recycling and rubbish disposal was neatly laid out - the best we have seen in a CL. It was so peaceful that when our alarm didn't go off in the morning we overslept by an hour which was bliss! Coming from Cornwall we always have a long journey to anywhere up country so this is a real find for us. Many thanks for your welcome Lucy, we will definitely be back.

Lovely cl

Enjoyed our recent stay on this lovely  site. The field is very spacious and beautifully kept, it is a very quiet site so lovely if you just want to relax. Lucy was lovely greeting us and as we had not been before she was helpful with information about the local area. Would recommend and would use again.

excellent cl

This is a excellent cl well kept with short grass and a friendly owner. When you first turn up the farm track you wonder what to expect but when you turn the corner at the top of the track what a surprise. Only one thing to be aware of at the moment is the road closure. Had a great time many thanks and will be back next time we are in the area.
