I unfortunately have a mixed review. The site is well laid out with a footpath leading directly from one corner and a lovely view over Bridport with a glimpse of West Bay. On the downside, there are numerous cars and vans up and down the lane which is literally directly behind the site and that coupled with tractors, sometimes starting as early as 6am, didn't feel very tranquil! Great if you are up at 6am but that is too early even for me on a Bank Holiday. I am aware that it is a working farm but we usually stay on these and haven't really had this problem before. Maybe the pitches are in the wrong place with regard to the 'working' part. The other thing I found was, being an adult only site, whilst sitting out in the evening, reading and enjoying a glass of wine, peace was shattered by screeching/screaming children just behind the hedge. Apparently these were families which were staying in the holiday cottages on the same farm. So, overall, if none of the above bothers you, then a great little site. If you are looking for peace and quiet then possibly not.
