Great site, would return.

Lovely site, easy to access, and nice and quiet. The pub itself is quite old but is a freehouse so has a good range of beers. We didn't eat there. There are no dog walks from the site, although there's a footpath around 1Km away. Water is a bit of a hike, depending on your pitch, but not the end of the world. Location is good for visiting Grimes Graves, and also RSPB Lakenheath. Would happily stay here again. My only complaint - and it is minor - is that the field had been cut and there were large clumps of clippings, so on our one wet day it was really hard to keep the caravan clean (2 people, 2 dogs).

Quite a nice stay

This is one of two CLs owned by the pub across the road, The Cressingham Arms. I thought this was the nicer of the two - but if I'd been on the other, I may well have said the same thing! The toilets and facilities were open all the time we were there - even outside pub hours and were very clean. We stayed during the Covid crisis and the pub has very good Covid compliant measures in place. We liked the spacious feel of the place and the pitch where you like philosophy. That is until those that were there when we arrived left the next day and then those who then arrived were either this year's newbies or completely ignorant. Two new arrivals pitched so close to us, we thought that we were the mother ship! The owners did say that they would ask them to move - but we only had one more night, so we put up with it. There was 90 metres of space available and they both parked so close to us that we could have passed them a brew barely leaving our doorstep! That aside, the site is lovely, a little road noise but it's not a main road but at times busy with agricultural vehicles. There is a lovely little village green just up the road, which made a nice walk with the dog. We could have done with a bit more info on arrival - it took two goes to find the drinking water tap. It can get a bit boggy at the bottom of the field - so pick your spot with care depending upon the time of year you visit. We would return if we were in the area.

Mixed Bag.

Left standing in hotel foyer while staff had other things to do. Put in the Water Meadows very open field. Beware the toilets and shower are only open when the pub is open. so early in the morning NO TOILET OR SHOWER then had to find a member of staff to unlock the door that they did not want to do. We eat twice in the pub could do better Bering in mind this is a hotel as well. but did welcome our dogs. would try the other sites in the area before going back to this one.

First ever caravanning break - Very Happy!!

Decided to have an extra night so rang and booked so arrived on Thursday toleave on Sunday. Only 3 caravans on the site on arrival with plenty of choices of pitches as numerous hook ups. A small area wasn't really too ideal as a little boggy with all of the recent rain. Easy access and decent main routes (A1065) a mile away. Lovely area to go for walks as roads not too busy. The bonus is the pub which was always busy. Food looked great (everyone was eating) all reasonably priced. The pub is also dog friendly and had a great selection of beers. Would definitely recommend and will be going back.

Great little site for a quiet weekend

we loved the views from this site, its very relaxed with no formality to the all grass pitches with plenty of room so we could angle our van for the best views!  It has a shower available over at the pub, staff were very friendly and even though its a very popular pub it wasn't noisy at all.  A very relaxing stay, we shopped in Swaffham with ease and visiting Oxborough Hall and spent the day exploring the countryside - we will definitely go back.
