Very wet week turned out OK

This is a nice 'basic' site with electric, which we have just returned from after 9 nights over Easter. The owner has put water point close to all pitches and the site is well maintained. It has the usual recycling and disposal facilities - these are not particularly well labelled but are easy enough to work out. The CDP is behind just the bins, I missed it first time, maybe it's just me who is blind. The CDP tap wasn't working whilst we were there, but there are plenty close by which are - I used the one nearest the bins just a few feet away - I can only think this is a temporary thing. The entry is a little tight, but well manageable The site is grassy where the pitches are and hardcore road the other side. The weather was exreme when we arrived and couldn't get on to pitch (Front wheeled drive). A 4*4 owner pulled us on and we were squelching for 5 days as we walked back too and fro to our car. It was good to see all owners of the vans on site parking responsibly in the hard core drive (even the 4*4 owners). It dried up by the end of the week as the site appears to be pretty good at draining - we got off no problem The site is 2 miles from the beach (less than 5 mins to get to) and within very easy reach of the forest. The true test of a site is would I revisit - the answer here is a definite yes.

Note price is currently £12/night, which is about right - no quarrels here
