What a CL should be.

This is a great CL. I echo all the previous positive comments but must contradict the reviewer who objected to the lower terrace area. We are currently parked there and it’s wonderful! The views are the best on site. It’s a large peaceful area with so much space, absolutely no need to park elsewhere, and the ready made jockey wheel hole would be useful for caravans. We used blocks on one side of our van for easy levelling. There are lovely walks, a friendly welcome, and a little shop nearby. Just what CL’s should be.

If you like quiet this is the place for you

A great site overlooking the Weald. Pitches are pristine as is the toilet facilities. Unfortunately we were only able to stay 3 nights and would have loved to stay longer. As mentioned in a previous review the access is quite tight - we have a Unicorn Cadiz and there wasn't much space between the van and the wall. If you had one of the newer wider outfits I'm not sure you'd be able to squeeze through. It is near to lots of sites of interest and there is a really lovely walk from the campsite. The butcher is fantastic as is the restaurant. Apparently it was a pub so you have to eat rather than just have a drink - that being said it is a great place to go but you need to book. We would certainly go back in the future.

First class site

I’ve knocked a star off ease of arrival due to the very tight entrance from the village road and down the access road to the CL area, so swing wide and go careful. It’s all be said before, friendly helpful owners, 3 flat tiered lawned pitching areas all with fantastic views, a real credit for a site. We will definitely be back.

Great CL

We stayed here for a week. Easy to find, lovely owner and so beautiful. Views, lovely loo, flower beds, grass perfectly kept, like a lawn. No-one's view is compromised on this site. Shop, butchers in village very handy, but pub is now a restaurant and they now reserve tables for diners. Great if you're dining, not so great if you just fancy drink...but other local pubs benefit. Plenty to do from here, close enough to the South Coast, Tenterden railway (great day out), Canterbury, etc. So peaceful when back on site.

First Class in many ways

Views, peace, a wee village to explore, cricket, historic church, local shop and well maintained site. Our second stay at this CL site and we’ll be back again. If you are wishing to explore Kent or needing an overnight stop en route to France, then this is an excellent choice.

Lovely CL in the Heart of Kent

Just back from two weeks staying at Pluckley Weald View CL site, very welcoming owners, Lovely Views on a Lovely site in the country side of Kent, we took advantage of some nice walking from the site including the "Greensand Way footpath" found a couple of pubs along the way, Also very handy having a good butcher's and post office / shop in the village to save a trip to the supermarket, George the owner knows his way round Kent and is helpful if you need pointing in the right direction, will stay again in the near future

wonderful site in the country

my wife and I have just spent 3 nights at this fantastic site, On arrival George showed me the pitches available, we pitched in a lovely spot overlooking the wield, what fantastic views. George (owner) was vary pleasant and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, this site is located in the centre of the village of pluckley, so everything is a short walk away. Butchers, post office, shop, pub, and garden centre. and the toilet was very clean and the whole site was tidy, we defiantly will be back to this wonderful site, Paul /Janis

Don't arrive last on this C.L.

On arrival owner showed us the last pitch which most definitely did not meet Club distancing regs as the pitches were not delineated and the other 2 caravans had massively encroached on the available space. Only other option was a separate area on a steep gradient where the owner stated "Drop your front wheel in the hole and you'll be more level". A real Hobson's Choice. Decided to park slightly forward as one of the caravans had a 3 metre disability ramp and there would have been no space left for a wheelchair to manoeuvre safely. Yes, by parking where we did we may have slightly obscured the view of the other caravan who obviously went whingeing to the owner who in turn became extremely rude even though in our opinion it was a much more sensible area to park. In nearly 40 years of motorhoming it's probably the most unwelcoming experience we have had. And by the way the cost is now £18 for a site which has an extremely narrow entrance.

one of the best C.L.

We have just spent two weeks at this lovely C.L., everything about it is outstanding , George and Ros are the most friendly hosts you can find on the C.L. base, the site is pristine with short cut grass, the views and sunsets are to die for ,the toilet is as clean and tidy as any toilet you will find, access is easy if taken with care, right on your doorstep is a very well stocked shop/post office, a butchers with fabulous bacon and ham.the site is easy to find right in the center of a village with the local pub just across the road which does lovely food ,if we ever go back to Kent we would love to stay at this brilliant C.L. once again thank you George and Ros for letting us stay on your brilliant site,
