A very peaceful site. You arrive at an electrically controlled gate (secure site) which is answered straight away. Throught the gate and fork left in about 200yds - its signposted. and through the working farm, the chances are you'll be greeted there. Site slopes at the start but going to the top it is level and open views pleasant with a couple of pet sheep and horses with foals in the adjacent field.
Water tap and elsan point in the site field. The grass is a little long but 5" or so great for adding grip. There were no animal droppings anywhere at all. It is quite openbut there are a couple of mature horsechestnut trees for shade.
Your hosts are very welcoming people. No electric, takes you back, could do with a couple of the old gas mantels!! We stayed 2 nights and will stay longer next time.
Over night stay
A lovely working farm with great walks
Lambing was taking place while we were there
Watching the horses exercising whilst having breakfast
On the downside noise from the traffic and a charge of £10.00 not £7.00
No hook ups
No toilets
No water as it was turned off

The club should remove this site
The farm dog uses the caravan field as a toilet. There are old desiccated turds everywhere and new fresh ones. When we arrived there were two on the concrete plinth for the water tap: they were still there when we left. The dustbins were full to overflowing and bags of rubbish lying all around them. The grass desperately needed cutting. And on top of that we were charged ten pounds for a night, that's without electricity. The owners were pleasant but the site was not. Avoid.

Warm welcome
A warm welcome awaits on this lovely working farm, we stayed for one night which co insides with the Leeds festival hence the noise, which wasn't really too bad. So avoid August bank holiday if you are worried by the noise from the festival. Otherwise a really lovely place to stay with local footpaths for and great views.
A real working farm and a lovely welcome
We stayed for one night on this farm and we were quite enchanted by the location. The postcode took the satnav directly to the entrance. A closed gate was a surprise but a reassuring sign and intercom were visible and we were soon in. The weather was poor and the forecast was terrible so we were invited to park up on the flat concrete in the middle of the farm, rather than attempt the wet slope up to the adjacent field. We hooked up to the mains inside the barn and filled up with water. A very pleasant time sitting in the motorhome with a drink, watching the workers, the sheep and the horses. Despite the wind and rain we had a lovely visit.
