Had problem locating this site from the Harrogate direction but with help from a local in the village we arrived. A 4 acre pitch complete with 11 doleful looking rams. Therefore had to be a bit careful where treading on certain areas of the acreage. The views from this site are stunning particularly across the valley to the many arched railway viaduct and hills beyond. Splendid. This site is well located for Harrogate & Knaresborough. We were only staying for a couple of nights but if time allowed would have stayed longer. The lane is popular with local cyclists buzzing by in the evening. A lovely tranquil site. Now the downside; the Chemical Disposal was difficult to locate as it wasn't signposted. It is near the entrance to the farmyard across the lane from the CL field. There didn't appear to be a water tap(for the Disposal area). The disposal lid was heavy and rather awkward to lift.
