Lovely site

We visited this site in August 2020 for 10 nights as our first post lockdown trip. Access is a little tricky as the road is a bit narrow at Heaton hill and Heaton Punchardon. But don't let that put you off, as on arrival at the spacious site you will be rewarded with spectacular views of the Taw estuary. The site owner was very friendly on arrival and in fact came to see us later to say goodbye. Our stay was quite eventful, as due to being on an exposed hill the view comes at a price when the wind blows. Our air awning, decided it wanted to be on the other side of our caravan during the night!! We were a bit unlucky that Storm Francis decided to visit as the same time as us. Facilities are basic, the electric hookup did not trip out, there is good access to water and toilet disposal. Supermarket within 1mile at Wrafton. Crow point via toll road(£2) is lovely with sand dunes and beaches. We wish to return, hopefully in calmer weather conditions.
