Wonderful site

West View is one of the best CL's we have ever stayed on and we stay on many. The size of the pitches are huge and the condition they are kept in is wonderful. It would be fantastic if every CL was as good as this one especially the size of pitch, you actually feel that you have space. The openness of the site also allows you to enjoy the sun which again was in abundance when we were staying. I would recommend this site to everyone who likes peace and tranquillity and hopefully there will be a space for us when we re-visit. Many thanks and thanks for the effort that you put in to achieve such a wonderful CL. Regards Steph and Dave

Another great holiday.

Just back from another great stay at West view CL near Louth. You cant get a better cl than this. Great large pitches. Piece and quiet. Lots of places to visit around the Wolds. We will be back again very soon. Thank you Richard and Judith.

We love it here.

Just back from 10 days of heaven at this site. Just can't rate it high enough. So peaceful after a day out visiting all the local attractions. There is so much to do and see in the area. Also great places to eat out. If you want a relaxing break with no noise then this is the place. We will be back again soon.

FANTASTIC RELAXING AND FRIENDLY CL SITE

Stayed for 7 nights from 17th June 2019, and we loved our time there. Very warm and friendly welcome from Doug, who was looking after the site as the owners were on holiday. If you did not know the owners were away you would have thought Doug was the owner the way he looked after us and the site itself. Always there if you needed any help or information. Very informative about the area, even suggesting places to visit depending what you where looking for. A real gent. The site was immaculate in every way. Previous people have said in their reviews that the toilets and showers needed upgrading, but we found them very good and better that lots at other sites we have stayed at, and they were spotless and well stocked with all essentials. Plenty of space between pitches, giving you privacy. Very peaceful and quiet, and only a short drive to shop, pub etc. Easy driving to many places, with hardly any traffic, we drove everywhere and at times went miles without seeing another vehicle, taking in the stunning jaw dropping scenery. Will not think twice about returning next time we come to Lincolnshire.

Worth a stop!!!!

Personally I'm not a great fan of CLs, much prefer the Club sites. However, having stopped at this site for one night due to returning my new caravan to Couplands Caravans for some warranty work, I was impressed. The site was well maintained, lovely grass pitches, peaceful and a great open aspect across the fields. However, for me the site was totally let down by the one shower and two toilets, they were well tired and in urgent need of some tlc.

A peaceful CL

We stopped here in mid May 19'. We like peaceful CL's that accept dogs with a WC and if there is a shower then it's a bonus. West View has all of those things and it is easy to get to. The narrowest road you will encounter is the 100yds or so to the site when you turn off the main road. Facilities were spot on. Ground is level and beautifully maintained and if you have dogs then there is the grass paddock to exercise them in as well as a fair few local footpaths. Ok the village has no shop or pub. No big thing bring the beer & food with you. That said its not far to civilisation if you must. Try it. You might like it. We did and will be returning. Cheers Dave, Josie and Benson the Springer Spaniel.

Perfect CL To Chill Out.

Just returned from a three night stay over a bank holiday weekend and it was the perfect location to chill out and relax. Upon arrival we were able to take our pick where we wanted to pitch and we chose pitch 3. No issues with getting set up level and 30 minutes later we poured our first G&T's and from then on it was just pure relaxation. Facilities were spot on and the shower and toilets were kept immaculately clean. The waste & recycling area was screened off from view and again are very tidy. The village is very peaceful and during the evening and through the night it was so quiet you could have been in the middle of nowhere. Plenty of places to visit either in the wolds or on the coast all within a short drive so plenty to do. A 5 minute drive to the next village is a convenient co-op stocking essential supplies of beer, wine & gin which makes up for the lack of a village pub. All in all a site well worth visiting.

Nothing better than this CL

We visit this site several times a year and have to say it's the best. On arrival you get a friendly welcome from Richard and Judith. They advise you on what pitches are available. Get yourself settled in and your all set for a great stay. Very quite and peaceful. Toilets and shower are available, information room and free WiFi. Just a few minutes down the road and you are in the Market town of Louth with great shops a good cinema and easy parking. There are lots of places of interest to visit or you can go to the coast. All within a short drive. There is a dog walk from the site in the adjacent field that belongs to the site. You can also walk around the village where the people are very friendly. All in all 10 out of 10. You wont find a better cl than this.

Easter Weekend

Just returned from a great week at this site. Weather was very wet for 1st hale and there was a little bit of flooding. Owners were away on Holiday and it was been looked after by Doug. It was our 1st visit to this site and area but will definitely not be the last. Doug did the owners proud and his attention to details and how he looked after us was 2nd to none ! We have recently reverted back to CL's from Club Sites as we prefer something a bit quieter. This site is a 'gem' and we will be returning ! Well done Doug.. keep up the good work !

Peace and quiet

This was our 4th visit to West view and we enjoyed our stay just as much as we have in previous visits. Access to the site is down a narrow lane, with no issues encountered On arrival there was a message posted informing us of the available pitches, and shortly afterwards we were met by Richard who had come across to make sure everything was OK. We were on pitch 2 which although slightly undulating was easy to level and pitch up. Grass as usual was cut short and clippings collected, the rest of the CL was immaculate and well cared for. Showers and WC included in the price of £15 per night - all facilities were clean and well looked after, there was a variety of bins for disposing of rubbish all itemised for recycling. The CL is within a short drive of Louth, which is a really nice traditional market town, we also visited Woodhall Spa, and Horncastle during our stay After spending 3 nights onsite it was a shame we had to leave and return to the rat race. This CL is perfect if you want to get away from it all and enjoy some peace and quiet
