Peaceful site within walking distance of Diss
We chose this site to be able to walk into Diss and the walk was very pleasant, partly along tracks across fields, and took us, at a leisurely pace and in very hot weather, about 40 minutes. The site itself is generally very quiet and peaceful although that was partly disturbed during our stay by a tractor regularly travelling through the CL, only a few metres from our motorhome, taking logs away from a felled area. I usually take a very accepting view of activities on a farm but this did start to annoy me. However, the owner explained that they decided to do it when they did because the ground was so hard and so unlikely to be churned up. Overall, I accept that it was just a one off and I would not let it stop me from recommending the site because in all other respects our stay was very enjoyable.
There are two shower/toilet rooms which were showing their age a bit but they were kept reasonably clean, enough for my wife, who is very fussy about which site facilities she will use, to use them.
