Nice stay

Had a lovely 4 nights on this site, busy main road, but can hardly be heard. Surrounded by horses in fields and rabbits running all over the place, wonderful. A 200 yard walk brings you to the Hayling Billy, a railway that closed down in 1964 and has been turned into a footpath, horse ride and cycleway and runs up the coast. Right outside the site is the bus stop to Havant or Hayling running every quarter of an hour weekdays and half hour Sundays. The only problem is the caravan club sign is completely worn out and the sign for the stables is behind a hedge, look out for 149 which is in big letters on the wall, the site is the next turning right on a left hand bend no 147.

Comment from the Club

Thank you for your review and to everyone who has taken the time to leave a review for this site. We are delighted that you had a lovely time here and really appreciate your feedback. We wanted to let everyone know that there is a new owner of Westcroft Stables and as well as being really keen to provide a great place to stay for our members she has agreed that she will be installing new electric hook-ups more conveniently spaced. There is no toilet advertised for this site but the owner is looking to make improvements and hopes to add a shared WC facility shortly. Also new signage has been provided and the owner is going to make sure the site entrance is clear from both directions.
