Not For Us I'm Afraid

We used this site as a one night stop over returning home from Cornwall as it's in a good location, near the junction of the M5 and M50, a few miles outside Tewkesbury. It's easy to locate and access is ok. The owner is very nice and friendly. Having read the previous reviews I expected better for my £20 to be honest. The "paddock" you are in is not massive and was full with five units, 3 of who, like us , were staying just one night. It's near enough level, for a night, but is a bit unkempt (I found dog poo on our pitch after we'd set up) and rutted. The view from the van is not picturesque either. There is a single toilet, with a handbasin, housed in a wooden shed, electrics on each pitch, as well as a shared single water tap and Chemical Toilet disposal point. Before leaving at about 9 am I had to open the large wooden gate - it was heavy, had dropped from it's hinges and had to be lifted up and held up whilst swung. No problem for me but a lady on her own or someone with a medical problem may have found it difficult. This site is what it is, but how people can call it an "Outstanding CL" and "Superb" I don't know.
