This was our third visit to this site and it remains a gem in the countryside. No frills, a long well cared for field with views over the surrounding countryside. Plenty of water pressure and neat and tidy waste disposal point and rubbish bins discreetly placed behind trees and fences. The slightly elevated position, as well as enhancing the view, leads to good TV & phone signals. Binham is a pleasant little village with an excellent pub & shop. There are also the ruins of the old priory which deserve a visit.
Great site for North Norfolk Coast
Stayed here for 3 night early August. A long and thin site gently sloping allowing all vans a decent view over fields. The lawn is well kept and the facilities good - the water pressure fills the van amazingly quickly. The field opposite had hares and a kestrel that would perch yards from the van. Enjoyable pub a very short walk away with good food amongst an area full of great pubs. It’s an easy cycle to the coast but also some real lovely walking or cycling locally around Binham.

Great views and access by bike to the Norfolk coast cycle route
Perfect for us to cycle to Blakeney first evening then 45k to take in Holkham, Wells next the sea and Walsinham. Lovely meal at Wighton. First one Out since lockdown Began. The villages inland from the coast are gems and should not be missed
Excellent
The site occupies an elevated position overlooking rolling farmland at the edge of the village. Binham is an attractive village with its Priory remains, pub with food, dairy selling milk and well stocked shop which is worth a visit in its own right. Nearby Warham has a pub selling good grub. There is no electrical hook-up but solar panels and controllers are cheap nowadays (subject to the sun). An ideal site if you like quiet countryside.

Tranquility again in Norfolk
We have visited this delightful CL again twice this summer – in mid July and mid September. On both occasions there was only one other unit on the site, the grass was cut short (with the clippings collected) – and we were lucky with the weather. Although the site is overall slightly sloping (and well-drained), there are a number of level areas if this is of concern. There is a lovely outlook across neighbouring farmland, and we were treated to some spectacular East Anglian sunsets, as the field faces directly west. The hedge and trees on the eastern boundary of the site give excellent protection from easterly winds, but the slightly elevated position of the CL means it is more exposed to westerlies. This is an excellent base for visiting attractions along the North Norfolk coast, including Wells-next-the-Sea and Blakeney, particularly as there is a network of lanes allowing you to travel east-west without using the rather busy (and narrow in places) A149 coast road. So, from our perspective, if you are not fussed about an EHU connection, this is one of the best CLs close to the North Norfolk coast.
Peaceful, rural site
We stayed here for just one night, as we were touring. It is an attractive site, with views over fields, on the edge of the village. The terrain is quite sloping, so you will need to take this into account.

Norfolk tranquility
This CL, just on the outskirts of Binham, looks out across farmland to the south and west. It is well maintained and cared for, with the grass kept well mown. The field stretches alongside a hedge on its east side, dropping slightly to the south. It is mostly well drained. Many pitches are slightly sloping and levelling blocks/ramps are likely to be required.
There is easy access to Wells Next the Sea, which we have found to be a genuine working town and port, as well as a holiday destination. Back roads running east and west also give easy access to a wide variety of coastal walks. (Avoid the coastal A149, particularly if towing).
For excellent, reasonably priced, pub food, make sure you visit the Three Horseshoes pub at Warham.
