Ease of arrival/welcome

very wet

On arrival we were shocked to find that the owner we booked with had moved so in fairness to the new owners they were thrown in at the deep end . We were on pitch 2 which of all the pitches had the best view but sadly thats where it ends it was soggy when we arrived the hard standings were not really big enough and even with rock pegs hard to get into . The wifi was not working as the new owners had only arrived two days before us which was a pain as I thought it would be working had I known I could have sorted the things I needed to before going . There was a quarter of our awning that was unusable because of the wet conditions as the time went on it got alot worse we had originally booked for 12 days but by day 8 we were flooded out and had to leave im not joking when i say we had to wear wellies in the awning it was ankle deep at 1 end and the awning carpet was floating I appreciate the weather in pembrokeshire can be wet but it was beyond a joke we tried to see the owners before we left but there was no one around .Most nights there was a dog running around in the early hours barking have no idea whos it was so not the best experience . The site in my opinion needs a fair bit of work doing to it the hard standings are not done properly and the small track is adding to the drainage issue the water builds up and cant drain past the track. I wish the owners best of luck and hope they sort the issues out it was not there fault .We will not be returning to this site if you do go be prepared for bad weather and drainage problems .
