A lovely peaceful Site....July 2013

We had a good welcome from the owners who directed us to the paddock and asked us to settle in and he saw us later. The paddock is a very large field which is very tidy and with short mowed grass. A couple of trees in the centre of the field gave us lovely shade for sitting under in this heat wave. There are two toilets with one also having a shower cubicle, these are cleaned every morning and are of a very nice size. It is wonderfully quiet site. The Metheringham RAF Museum is on site which is open on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday and is free for visiting, although not too busy visitors can be seen from the site, this is not a problem. Ice cream can be bought from the centre. A bus stop to take you into Lincoln is just at the top of the lane, the area is nice for visiting Sealford, Woodall Spa with cafes and eating places. We paid a price of £8 per night, 20p for a shower, honesty box, with EHU. The Caravan Club has asked him to up his prices. From the middle of August it will be £10 per night and 50p for a shower. Thanks to Mr and Mrs Scoley, we had a good time, the site is lovely and we will be back to see you shortly.
