I booked this site for the week at the may day bank holiday, so glad that i did choose this wonderful site, i arrived on a very wet Wednesday after many days of wet weather to be met immediately by the owner who apologised and said that the large CL field was unusable, however he guided us to a concrete apron next to a Jet Provost aircraft, brilliant!, being an ex airforce man this was great, even more so when on the Saturday they gave the aircraft an engine run! happens only once a month apparently. The rest of the week past by in glorious hot weather did not want to move when the field dried out on the Friday, i cannot recommend this site highly enough and will be back in the future, the owner was more than helpful and nothing was too much trouble i wish all CL sites where this well managed and run, the toilets and showers were immaculately cleaned every day. well done mr. and mrs Scoley.
