We had chosen this CL as it is on the site of the Metheringham Airfield Visitor Centre, we were very impressed by it. On arrival we were told to have a look at the grass on the CL, if we weren't happy then we could use the hardstanding at the side of the Jet Provost. The ground seemed fine, so we chose to pitch on the grass. No problem for the MH and there was lots of space for everyone. It was so quiet and peaceful, with a lot of birdlife. We always have birdfeeders with us and when hanging them up here, in no time were we rewarded by lots of different birds feeding off them. We were only here for 2 nights as part of a tour around Lincs, and on the afternoon we arrived we visited the Museum on site. Very interesting to read the history behind it all, volunteers there were all very helpful. The CL has WC/shower as well as a disabled WC. Shower is 50p. A lovely CL which we've no hesitation to recommend.
