Beatuiful View

I phoned and spoke to the owner the day before I travelled to clearify where the site is. Follow their detailed direction and not your SAT Nav. It is close to the M54 and access to the site is excellent. Plenty of room to pull off the road before the new barrier to the site. Someone from the local workshop let us onto the site as the owners were out. Once there they showed us round and I can confirm the shower is very generous and all looked spottless. I didn't use it but it looked very tidy. Had to fill the motorhome with watering cans as the tap is not directly accessable. But really carrying the watering cans was not a problem as the site is small. EHU worked fine. The grass is like a lawn and there were no clippings left to get tramped into the van. It is sloped but with a chock on front and back one side I got it the levelest that I have ever had a caravan or motorhome! It rained on and off during my stay (3 nights) so I didn't bother with getting the chairs out but sitting on my step with my breakfast listening to the birds, watching the sheep and rabbits and enjoying the view was just priceless. There aren't cycle routes near by but by car there is plenty to explore. Shifnal and Albrighton are lovely little towns to visit. Do make sure that you have cash or a cheque to pay for your stay as the owners clearly state. The owners are very kind and would help in any way they could. The barrier is new and I think that it works very well. As a lone female on the site I felt very safe, plus there house is near by. I would stay there again for the view and the peace.
