Fair priced CL

A very small basic CL. Thankfully it was not fully booked during our stay otherwise it would have felt crowded with no privacy. A car is a must as no where is walkable. Plenty of beautiful beaches to visit. Owner friendly.

Peaceful white heart cottage

Lovely peaceful cl , Jan was there to welcome us when we arrived and to check if there was anything we needed which was good . Well placed to visit the beautiful beaches and other places of interest that Haverfordwest and Pembroke has to offer . Great paddock for walking our dog , where we enjoyed watching buzzards and a beautiful red fox running in the fields at the end of the paddock . We will definitely be returning to White Heart Cottage in the future

Great Value Friendly Site

Small peaceful CL with a friendly owner. We stayed for 5 nights in August 2021 and was on pitch 4. Our pitch required substantial blocks on the rear steadies of the van and the front jockey wheel at its lowest position to get level. Didn't use the WC facilities as they were closed due to Covid. Definitely need a car to visit anywhere as there are no pavements to allow for safe walking out of the site. Good Electricity supply, Elsan facility, recycling and easy access to fresh water supply and grey water disposal. Overall, we would use this CL again when we revisit Pembrokeshire.

August in Pembrokeshire

This is a great CL with 5 pitches, plenty of room, full hard standing, grass lawn alongside the 4 main pitches, probably more room than you’d get on a full C&MH Club site, electric hook up - water, waste and recycling within 30m of every pitch. Add to that a huge well maintained dog field & the fact it’s close to all the local beaches & villages like Dale, Marloes, Little Haven, Broadhaven & St Brides it’s difficult to beat. Jan was brilliant with arrangements via email, prompt responses & very helpful. £12 a night is an absolute bargain these days. Easy to get to & close to Haverfordwest if you really need to go shopping. Had a great time & will definitely return!

Ideally placed to explore the local area

We stayed for 4 nights, it provided an ideal base to visit the local area. Everywhere was within half an hour’s drive. The site is well maintained, clean and tidy. Jan was very welcoming and on hand for any queries. The dog field was much appreciated. It was quiet and peaceful and we would definitely use White Hart Cottage again. Very good value.

Small but fairly priced

We expected a bit more room at this cl, as it is, the caravans face each other with the exception of one pitch. The hardstandings are quite large but hardly any grass to sit out and is not that private. We love Dale, and I suppose we should have checked the area first but this cl is a long way from Dale itself. The nearest resort is Broadhaven. To us, this cl is absolutely fine for a weekend, we were there 10 days but it was too long as it wasn't that handy for other places to visit. However, the price they charge is very fair and we wouldn't hesitate to use it as a weekend retreat if we were lived locally.

2nd Visit

Once again we had a lovely holiday at this site, we stayed for 16 nights and couldn’t fault it, even the weather was kind to us! As others have said the dog field is amazing our dogs loved the freedom of the open space. The owners were really helpful and friendly and always there if needed, which was great. We visited some lovely places including Solva, Stackpole Quay, Saundersfoot, Tenby and many more, with lots more places to discover next time. It is a great base with many supermarkets and takeaways within a few miles and of course the fantastic beaches and walks.... again can’t wait to return.

Small CL but nice field adjacent.

This is one of the smallest CLs we have stayed on with very small graass area. Bur there is a lovely field at the back of the site with stunning views. You need a car to get anywhere.

Lovely CL

Had a lovely few days on this CL. Large hard standings with grass to side. Very pleasant and friendly owner greeted us. Loads of places to visit. We walked into Broad Haven a couple of times - it’s just a couple of miles easy walking. There you have most things you want and of course the coast path if you fancy a longer walk. There is a large separate grassed area behind the site for children to play and a dog walk for a short stroll. We shall definitely visit again when in Pembrokeshire. Fantastic value for money. Thank you.

Loved it!

Will definitely return to this CL Site. Just had 11 nights, the owners were friendly and informative. Neat hard standings all with some grass at the side of each pitch, peaceful and nice views. All amenities close by. Fantastic dog walk at the back of site, great for ball throwing which our Golden Retrievers loved and the grass kept nice and short on the dog walk and pitches which is always a bonus. A perfect base for exploring the area, the scenery is breathtaking, coastal walks and beautiful beaches aplenty. A not so pretty beach but perfect for dog swimming is at Dale which is a short distance from site. The site is great value for money and looking forward to our next visit.
