Wonderful CL

Arrived to find we were the only ones there and were amazed as we immediately realised what a lovely site it was. Each pitch was clearly marked out and there was plenty of room and it faced the lovely lake which was full of fish and a fishermans delight. Of course the next day two more vans arrived and then the next day another which was great. There are lovely walks around the site all signposted and colour coded by the owner which is brilliant. The family are very friendly and full of information. It is slightly too far to walk to the village and mobile signal is a bit hit and miss but other than that everything is perfect.

Best C/L we have stayed on in 30 yrs

We went in May and cancelled our August holiday elsewhere to go back. I think what others have said I can only repeat and say you cant get better. We will be back next year. Dennis Sheffield

My Type Of Site

The only thing i didnt like about our short stay at White Horse Farm is that i couldnt stay longer . The pitches are faily level on very well kept grass ,with ample space . The fishing is good . Gus and his family are the perfect hosts . There is wildlife aplenty , marked walks around the farm (hard , medium and easy) . The dogs are friendly and lovable . I just wish i had found thuis beautiful Cl earlier . Would we return ? Oh yes !

Peace and Tranquility

We have just returned from 2 wonderful nights at May Bank holiday weekend. Gus and his family are wonderfully friendly and the site is so peaceful and idyllic! Star gazing was amazing! A clean, tidy and well kept site, with a lake and lots of wildlife. Gus loves his animals and wildlife and was happy to show us around the farm. We heard owls and there was lots of other bird life in the trees. Thank you for making us so welcome - we would highly recommend this hidden gem!

Idyllic

Just returned home from a 2 week stay at this lovely CL.  There are farm trails to explore around the site, a large fishing lake and a farmer who makes you feel very welcome.  During our stay, we became friends with this charming man and his family.  The site itself is well mowed and level and there are a number of shepherds huts that can be rented out by friends and family The pitches are clearly marked out.  The wildlife was a joy to see and hear, with a barn owl residing over the road and several tawny owls to be heard. There are number of cockerels on the farm, but they didn't disturb us.  A real happy place to be and I can't wait to go back.

The Darling Buds Of May

A small farm where the owners make you welcome. Nearby Peasenhall has a good shop and excellent butcher. Ask where the pubs are (there are some good ones within a couple of miles but you will have to drive). The perfect break with big skies and barn owls. Farm trail walks and stargazing at night. Fishing lake on site. Prime location for both coast and country. People actually talk to each other!

lovely stay!!

Stayed here to go to various RSPB (Minsmere) and National Trust sites. White Farm CL is an excellent level site, lawn like and newly mowed! Very quiet site, only ones there (motor home). Good welcome, made aware of visiting barn owl which flew over low at dusk - terrific. Very secluded and peaceful site. A little way of the beaten track but well worth it if you want peace and quiet, which is what we wanted. Can only highly recommend it. EHU etc, but no loos, fine for us.
