This site was easy to get to but unfortunately there was no welcome from the owner, which would have been nice - just polite to greet you and offer assistance/information. We had the pick of the pitches, luckily, and were able to get on the flattest one by the entrance. Some pitches were badly sloping and one visitor changed to our pitch when we left. The site is very near to Hadrian's Wall, with easy access to it down the road. The area is very picturesque and we had some really good walks. The barn on the adjacent farm (mentioned on another review) wasn't an issue. It is a very peaceful spot.
