Great Little CL

Stayed for 4 nights over the cold Bank Holiday weekend. Nice easily accessible site which is mainly flat. Met shortly after arrival by David who is e very pleasant host who has vast knowledge of the local area and knows his local history. There is an information hut with books, DVDs and other local information. What is great is there are several aerial leads for you to plug into the aerial points located on the back of the numerous water points. There is also grey waste drainage accessible from each pitch. There are also additional aquarolls and hoses with aquaroll attachments to connect the water so there is no need to keep refilling your barrel. All this at no cost. Situated between RAF Mildenhall and Lakenheath there is a bit of noise from arriving and departing aircraft but only seems to be a couple of sorties per day so not too bad. Didn’t bother us as we are happy to listen and watch the aircraft. After this there is barely any noise except the local agricultural vehicles, only to be expected as its near the farm. Will definitely return and great value at £14 per night.
