A lovely week, on the whole
I didn't actually get to meet the owners during our week, but my wife did and reported they were very friendly. This is a lovely CL with attractive wooded scenery on all sides, a large grassy field, and easy to get the van level.
The main problem for me is that the hook-ups are on two sides only, meaning the available space could not be fully utilised, resulting in a crowded feel to the site. There was another van off-site in an adjacent field, but he was using one of the hook-ups, and another couple went on holiday but left their van on site, taking up valuable space. They could surely have been asked to shift their van into the other field for the duration of their holiday. So there were six vans for half the week, with one unoccupied.
This was my only issue, but the overcrowded feel did detract from our stay.
The access track is steep and stony initially but it levels off eventually. Be sure to approach from the correct direction, however, as directed in the handbook.
With the addition of a hook-up on the other side of the field this could almost be the perfect location.
