Most enjoyable

Once again a warm welcome from the owners. Their garden was open as part of the NGS and we took advantage of this and enjoyed homemade cake and afternoon tea on a glorious afternoon of the May bank holiday. Most enjoyable stay and sorry to leave.

Delightful

What a fantastic little peach that we have discovered here. We stayed here for 10 nights May Bank holiday and I just did not want my holiday to end. The site is beautiful. Very well maintained and Karen and Bob are just the nicest people that you could wish to meet. Like the previous review WE also are reluctant to write good things about the site in fear of not being able to be booked in when we want to return. We think that this is THE BEST CL that we have stayed at. Really can not fault all the hard work that has been and is being done all the time. Only wish that this was on our doorstep as unfortunately we have a 5 hour drive which is a bit too far for long week-ends. We will certainly visit again.

Our little corner of paradise

I am NOT going to tell you that this is the most beautiful and tranquil CL we have visited. I am NOT going to tell you that Bob & Karen are the loveliest hosts you could wish to meet. Neither will I say that they have the best chemical disposal point we have ever seen, or the most beautifully maintained grounds. In fact I am very relucatant to say the lovely things that I would want to say about this place - BECAUSE everybody will then want to visit and we may not get our favourite pitch when we want to go back. This was our 3rd or 4th visit, we only live an hour drive away but to us this is like another world - it is stunning and we consider Bob & Karen as friends now, they are the most helpful and friendly owners we have ever come across. They have only had this site running as a CL for 2 years and their efforts are more than a credit to them. I just hope that when they decide to enter the CL of the year award (which they would win hands down) they remember their old faithful visitors and manage to squeeze us in. Happy to share our love of this little corner or paradise as it is so well deserved. Bob & Karen - thank you for all your hard work, see you VERY soon. Donna & Mark x

Wonderful site with great owners

Stayed for 4 nights from 15th April. Really good welcome from the friendly owners Bob and Karen, Grass was well cut and well drained. You must do the "champagne Walk" around the small lake up to the Gazebo and toast the sunset with a glass or two of wine "Fantastic" Fresh farm eggs available and they also supply barbeques with charcoal and logs to burn afterwards. We did not do this but you can imagine how a small log fire would make your evening enjoyable. We will cetainly return to this great site which is relaxing peacfull and close to good walks and quaint Lincolnshire towns, villages and the coast. One of the best CLs that we have stayed on and a great credit to the owners Bob and Karen. Kind regards from John and Moira

Most welcoming

We have stayed at this CL a few times now and our appreciation of the site increases with each visit. The owners couldn't be more friendly and welcoming, although never intrusive. On the first visit there was a vase of garden flowers waiting for us and on the last a bottle of home made wine, these touches were most appreciated. Also on the last visit, due to the amount of rain, the owners were on hand to help tow us from the site should we require. Overall a lovely place to stay.

Wonderful

This site is absolutely gorgeous. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and offer some great home produce. Very peaceful and quite with great dog walking directly from the site. The grounds and gardens are kept immaculate, definately the nicest site we have stayed on. Burgh le Marsh is a very pretty village and we can get all we want from there. Couldn't think of a better place to spend our time. In our opinion it is the best a CL site can offer. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we look forward to coming back early next year.
