Stayed on this site on 19 July.  We stayed on the site due to previous reviews and have to say I can't believe we arrived at the same place.  Yes the site is very large but grass hadn't been cut for probably 2 or 3 weeks.  The toilet had more wildlife in it than was outside, it didn't look as if it had been spring cleaned since 1953!  The whole area could have done with a great deal of TLC.  The drop down from the road to the site could be a problem for some outfits if wet.  I hate to say never but it is very unlikely we would stay again.

The CL Owner has been in touch with The Club as they are very concerned about your comments and that you did not enjoy your stay at their site. They would like to reassure you that the grass is normally regularly maintained, however, on your stay the owners had been having issues with the ride on lawnmower and as such were waiting for the relevant parts to arrive in order to repair it, which meant that they could not tend to the grass as they would normally. As you can see from previous reviews the site is normally well looked after, in a superb location and at just £9 per night offers members superb value for a peaceful stay in the countryside.
