One of the best

We stayed here for a 7 nights in early June. The access onto the flat grassed site was easy. The pitches were well spaced and surrounded by the most incredible views. We received a very friendly welcome from Robert who gave us lots of information about local attractions and upcoming events. The electricity, water and waste facilities were ideal and local information available in the wooden shed. Dog walk straight from site. This site is ideally placed for Ribblehead viaduct, Hawes,Dent and many other local attraction. This is probably the best site and area we have visited and all for £10 a night. Will stay again but will stay longer. Thanks Robert.

stunning

Just returned from this CL where we spent 13 nights. The views are just fabulous and the pitches are arranged in such a way that all can take advantage of them wherever and however you choose to pitch. Water and waste facilities all conveniently placed together with recycling and also a very helpful information hut containing leaflets of the area. Robert Baines and his family made us feel very welcome and we had a truly memorable holiday helped by 2 weeks of wonderful weather. Perfect for walking or touring the dales and easy drive to the lakes. That said I could have spent the entire 2 weeks staring at the view! We will certainly visit again.

An excellent site

The site is easy to find once you enter Ingelton. The owner was there to meet us and explained the setup, he was in no hurry to collect the money, he finally received this 2 days later. The owner ensures that everybody on site is okay with 2 daily visits. He is a keen walker and gave us valuable information about the surrounding area. Ingelton itself has enough to keep most people happy and can be reached by car in about 3 minutes. If your keen about walking, the 3 peak challenge is within 15-20 minutes drive. The site is worth a visit, I'm sure you will enjoy.

Yorkshire Dales Treasure

We love this quiet site with its splendid views and have returned several times during the last five years. Robert Baines clearly takes pleasure in providing this service to caravanners. He is one of the most friendly site owners that we have come across and is every credit to CL site owners. A board is always displayed upon arrival detailing pitch number and a visit from Robert follows soon after.

Lovley quite site

This has to be one of the better C/L sites we have stayed at. 5nights in July £10pn. Arrival is painless board on entrance telling you what pitch you are on. Not long after the owner Robert came over from his hay making to greet us lovely man nothing was to much. The site is wonderful and the views well just stunning. Yes the site is near a road but the road noise such as it was never bothered us. The position of site is ideal for all Ingleton walks and is central for further afield rambles. There is a designated well signed dog walk which is also a good route into Ingleton itself. the facilities are excellent with water and CDP well situated for all pitches. Will return here over and over again.

Great views

Excellent site with great views and good walking. No problems with road noise even though the site is just off the road! Will use again.
