Nice well kept site

This site really has everything you need, including a very short walk to the local pub! Pleasant views over farmland. Only downside is the tight entrance. I needed two goes to get in, but on exit I just about made it in a single turn. That is with a full sized suv towing a large twin axle; smaller outfits should have no problems. Due to the covid situation, we never saw the owners. There is a supply on envelopes into which you put the cash and leave it in the adjacent postbox.

Reasonable site

Spent a one night stopover at windspoint which proved to be just about right. Nice hard standing pitches with hedges for privacy but great views over open fields to the distant Cleehills. Water taps close by and good bins and recycling provided. Super pub through the gate at the end of the site and over the road. Real ales and good food and very dog friendly! Close to B road but hardly any traffic to bother you. Will return later in the year.

Tranquil site, good facilities, nicely laid out -

We stayed one night as a stopover in August, having been to the Tenbury Show nearby. This is the second year running we have used the site, its perfect for a break, short or long. The pub across the road is welcoming, good beer (& cider) and good food too. The CL owners are very welcoming and friendly.

All you will ever need

The handbook says from £14 but it really is only £11 in the warmer months. Everything to hand so no instructions needed. Every pitch is level hardstanding and has a lawn to sit out on surrounded with a high hedge. If you choose the pitch next to the main road then noise might be a problem otherwise it is not a problem. Good beer drinkers pub across the road and loads of places to visit. Everyone should visit Great Witley Parish Church, it is amazing. Petrol Station/Shop for groceries and papers five minutes drive away.

Nice site

Spacious and well maintained site. Easy access to water point, waste etc with a little hut housing the bin area. No toilet on site. Pitches well spaced and maintained overlooking paddock with sheep in when we went and views of the hills in the far distance. As a site itself, nothing to grumble about at all however, for us, the road noise was just too much and I'm afraid would put us off going again which is a shame as it's certainly not a reflection on the owner or the site. If a busy B road doesn't concern you then you will really like this site as otherwise it is quiet. We also couldn't find anywhere on site for walking the dog and whilst we could walk along the lane as it was a single track with thick hedgerows and no verge to pull yourself and dog into it was at times a little difficult. Good access to numerous places to visit and very pretty countryside. As the site is so well laid out I would still urge you to consider it but do bear in mind the noise of the road.

A little gem

We booked 4 nights here over a weekend in May looking for a good quiet CL near to a couple of local attractions we wanted to visit. These days I always read the reviews before choosing any site and Windspoint seemed to fit the bill nicely. As others have noted it really is a lovely site, the owners have put in considerable effort to create well proportioned individual pitches and the hedges that divide them are just the right size. Splendid views and quiet in the main, you do hear traffic using the lane but there isn't much of it, just enough to remind you that you aren't alone on the planet. The whole site is very well maintained with everything labelled and easy to use. Access is slightly on the tight side and the approach lane is very narrow but as you have only some 90 yards to travel from the main road this is not a problem. We didn't manage to try the pub this trip so that will have to wait for our second visit which is something I'm sure we will do as this CL is such a delight.

Windspoint CL

Visited for 3 nights end of March with indifferent weather of wind & rain most of the time. The hardstandings & sheltered hedges on each pitch were are bonus. Nicely laid out if a little tight with a large outfit but no problem if you have a mover.Waste, drinking water & toilet disposal are all well thought out & easy to use. Owner nice & helpful. Only slight downside was the road which was a bit noisy at times, but not off putting really. Pleasant enough view from van & had a buzzard right in front of our window one morning. Nice pub opposite with good food. We visited Croft castle & Berrington Hall NT places, Bewdley, The Wyre forest & drove around many lanes & villages nearby. A pleasant stay & would recommend.

2nd time around.. Still a firm favourite!

See our previous review... All still stands with the addition of our visit this time to the pub the Bell a minute or two walk away.. We booked a table for the Sat evening we sat in the snug area introduced to the blackboard menu on the wall and a basket of logs to keep the open fire burning.. Very friendly made very welcome the food was excellent and the beers don't dissapoint either. The landlord presented us with our bill and a complementary brandy.. If he reads this thank you from us and also our friends... We will return!

We will definitely return.

Booked this CL site for just 2 nights as we had to pick an awning up in nearby Kidderminster so thought we'd make a break of it and I must say this is a delightful little site. It consists of 5 hard standing pitches all with hook ups. Water was very near, as was grey and chemical emptying. Best of all was the Bell pub which is just through the gate and over the road, loads of real ales and great home cooked food at sensible prices, we had the whole site to ourselves and the owners were very welcoming and friendly, only wish we had longer there! We will most certainly go back when next in the area, highly recommended.
