Elusive Middle Field

Last minute booking as we usually do, we were not able to get onto the CL field however we were able to pitch up on the 'Middle Field'. John was very welcoming and pointed us in the direction 'ish of 'Middle field'. Once done a full circuit of the 'Outer Ring' occupied by pitch owners (nothing wrong with that) we found the field. during our 9 night stay we saw lots of holiday makers doing the 'outer ring' circuit which made us feel less stupid. John and Libby went for their holiday 2 days after we arrived (nothing wrong with that). They left us in the very good care of their lovely daughter Rachael (known affectionately to us as Dunster). There are many local beaches not only picturesque but dog friendly too for our little Bob. The weather was kind to us which is always a bonus. Yes it was windy at times but we don't think it was any less windy off site so it must be mother natures fault. The few pitch owners I met were very friendly too. Sorry to any of them for Bobby not making the dog walk area on more than one occasion but it was always picked up straight away. We do think we would return just a note about the 20 minute walk to the beach - this is accurate on the way down to Wisemans Bridge, does take a little longer on the way back up. The walk is through some lovely tree lined small roads. You can also walk along the beach from Wisemans to Saundersfoot (tide allowing). If the tide is in then there is a proper foot path with 3 little tunnels in it to get to the same destination. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, thank you once again. John, Libby & Dunster. X
