Fab site

We visited this lovely site for seven nights in early July and had a truly wonderful stay. We met the owner on several occasions and he was extremely friendly, attentive and nothing was too much trouble.  The site is huge and the pitches are ideally positioned to give adequate privacy.  We had the perfect pitch at the far end which didn't require any levelling blocks.  There are separate toilets for ladies and gents (two in each) and two separate showers.  You need to pay for the showers so you need 10 pence coins. We found 30p was adequate. The showers were kept lovely and clean.  There was a folding chair and ample drying area.  The site was well maintained and yes there are signs which we didn't have an issue with. Unfortunately, in all walks of life, there are some who spoil it for others so if it means signage needs to be displayed, we would personally prefer this and it shows the owner really cares about his site ensuring everyone enjoys their stay. There are several lovely walks from the site. One of which is down to Wisemans Bridge and then along the coastal route through a couple of tunnels, to Saundersfoot.  We also walked to Tenby which we didn't realise how hilly and far it was but it was a relief to know we could get the bus back which dropped us off at the bottom of the site lane. Stackpole is definitely worth a visit on a hot summers day; a must! A perfect holiday at a perfect site.
