Good location, but didn't like approach

This is a lovely large mown field with a children's play area, ladies and gents toilet and showers. Showers take 10p coins, but found you would need 30p-40p for a shower. Directions in the book say to turn left at the signpost for Sardis, there is no sign there now, so be careful. We ended up going through Kilgetty to the roundabout to go back and look again. The Iron Man challenge was on the day we arrived, but as we do not know the area were not aware until we were almost there and came across numerous road closed signs. Majority of the local roads were closed as well as the A4075 and A478. We were travelling from Haverfordwest direction and had to divert to St Clears. If we had been told of this event by the owners when booking, we would have arrived a day earlier or a day later as we felt we wasted a day of our holiday. All roads to Tenby and Saunsdersfoot were closed on the day we arrived. The access road is narrow with some passing places, but this road is also used by local buses. The entrance is also a tight turn, so although it says no maximum outfit length, we would disagree as we scraped our caravan on the brick wall when trying to turn right into the site. It is a very tight turn. On leaving the site, we chose to turn right of the site and drive down to the church to turn around so that we could leave the way we arrived. After pitching and levelling, we noticed that there was a very small sign on the electricity point to say not to pitch within 4 metres of this point or you could be asked to move. We weren't asked to move, but if this is a rule, then it should be pointed out before pitching and levelling. Agree there are too many signs. Why not put them all on one notice board. Commercial site adjacent, but no noise from here. Slight traffic noise at night from A477, but we are used to living in a very quiet road where we don't hear any traffic noise. Probably wouldn't bother most people.
