The first CL we have not felt comfortable on. It has a right mish mash of unkept areas. 2 permanent vans just off CL but got the feeling there were 2 on the CL that had been there a long time! Number of vans 6. Sorry guess you get what you pay for. Disappointed.

Another delightful  stay at Winter egg, loved the wild flower meadow, which even when past its best, was buzzing with bees and chalk land butterflies. It's so gratifying that country people are setting land aside to give nature a chance. What is unkempt to some, is saving wildlife.
