I phoned to book this site when we were travelling back from Bath to Cornwall after our son's graduation. We just needed somewhere to sleep in our campervan before the drive home. I left a message for the owner and luckily she phoned me back just as we were about to give up and try somewhere else. I'm so glad she did! What a fantastic site! We did miss the turning and had to turn around. The gate was well signed so we knew we were in the right place. The site is huge with lovely views over the fishing lakes with lots of wildlife. We went for a walk the following morning and followed the footpath through the trees with bluebells and wild garlic and lots of song birds and waterfowl. We didn't meet the owner (we left the money in the letterbox).  There was some noise from the trains passing but this didn't spoil our visit.  I wish we could've stayed longer and explored more.
