Peace & Tranquility
We really have little to add to the previous reviews! If you a looking for a site that is easily accessed from main roads but feels far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life then you need look no further. I have not yet found any other site that feels so peaceful and tranquil; that coupled with John & Liz's welcome and desire to make their visitors feel relaxed and part of their lives makes Wollerton Meadows the place you have to visit, and return to.
Fantastic site-highly recommended
John and Liz are two of the nicest people I have ever met! I’m a frequent visitor and always get a lovely welcome. Nothing is too much bother and they do their utmost to make you feel welcome and appreciated. The site is really well presented, set in beautiful countryside and is very tranquil. Access is wide and well maintained, and all services are spotless and close to hand. The area boosts fantastic dog walks in amazing countryside, and a good selection of pubs serving good beer and food. Market Drayton is a beautiful nearby small town well worth a visit for a little retail therapy, well serced with banks, supermarkets etc.
I just cant recomend this site highly enough. It’s simply peaceful, tranquil and amazing.

Tranquil Stay
We have just spent 8 nights at this extremely tranquil site. We have a twin axle van and had no problem on entry to the farm, or siting the van. The site is extremely spacious and very level. Each pitch has its own hook up. There are some hardstanding pitches but mainly grass. There were lovely views across the valley over towards Staffordshire. John and Liz are extremely friendly and very helpful. Lovely watching the ducks having their evening stroll! All in all a very nice site and an enjoyable break, will be re-visiting for sure.
Fabulous CL
This was our first visit to the site it is kept immaculate with neatly cut grass and all services maintained in excellent condition. Unfortunately it had been extremely wet and the grass was very soggy John was so apologetic and couldnt do enough to ensure our stay was pleasant. John and Liz are so welcoming and extremely friendly and nothing is too much trouble, We loved the peace and tranquility of this site with just the sound of the animals, we even had freshly laid eggs from the resident hens! This really is a great site. We will return.
Great CL
Have used this cl on several occasions whilst visiting family in the area, site is kept immaculate with neatly cut grass and all services maintained in excellent condition.
There are 3 hard standings plus grass pitches and a concrete road giving access to the site, with views across open countryside.
John and Liz are extremely friendly and nothing is too much trouble, this site is an example of what a cl should be like and we will certainly be visiting again.
Great Site in the Heart of Shropshire
We used this site as a base for a family wedding and wished we could have stayed longer. The views from this rural site are wonderful, and the site is so peaceful. If you want to get away from it all, look no further. Thanks to John and Liz for making our stay so memorable. We will be back.
Lorra opportunities for country walks and bike rides...
Very friendly and helpful owners, John & Liz. Plenty of space with grass and some part hardstandings, plus views. Grass kept short. Plenty of walks, some from the site. Miles of back lanes for cycling from the site. Hodnet House, down the road, well worth a visit. We can recommend the Fox & Hounds in Cheswardine. We had lunch there on a bike ride, and returned for their superb Sunday roast! Great ales. This is a working farm, however, so be prepared for some occasional noise when farm machinery is in operation.
