We stayed for a couple of nights so we could visit Gloucester and it was perfect for this. As can be seen from the photo the hardstanding is one large pan. Unfortunately my husband just came off onto the grass whilst manoeuvering!! Big mistake, it was very wet and we got stuck. Luckily Mr Horne's friend with a 4x4 came and pulled us out - we didn't make that mistake again! Sorry we mucked up the edge of the grass. Its a very peaceful site. Unfortunately the fresh water tap is across the field, we didn't try it! Luckily we had plenty on board and ok if you're in a caravan. The shower and separate toilet are next to the house, very clean and plenty of hot water. Considering it was only £12 a night i'm surprised they don't charge for the shower. Tv reception was good and we also had mobile reception. If its very wet and you have a large heavy outfit i would think twice about this cl, as you can see from the photo all four hardstandings are in a row and its not that deep.
