Little Gem

We had planned a longish trip to Scotland before the virus started ramping up so we changed our minds to use hotels. This changed again when a certain Scots lady started to lock down Scotland. My wife and daughter had stayed at Woodside Farm some weeks ago and raved about the place so a quick call and off we went. There are 5 pitches, No 3 is the choice one as the tap is right by the pitch so you can have a direct water supply. The grass was getting a bit long but not a problem and the site was kept neat and tidy. A credit to Mr Mrs Billings who were always busy in the farm even though she is awaiting a new arrival in November. Just in time for lambing. No need to repeat all that has been said about the concrete works, its there, its has no effect on the site save for a few, and l mean few lorries driving past Monday to Friday. Loads to see and do in the area but we stayed local, been there, seen it, done it. Well apart from Wirksworth. The local preserved railway is well worth a visit and they are hosting a GWR tank engine from October. Great site, great people.
