Everything about Woodville CL is first class. From the prompt reply to emails on booking and asking for advice on pitching to the warm welcome from Sarah and Dave on arrival (armed with a comprehensive folder for each pitch with details of local walks, pubs, shops etc) to the facilities themselves. Access is very easy off the A488 just past the village sign - make sure you take the left hand of 3 drives or you'll end up in the neighbour's back garden though. The final drive to the site is narrow but easily manageable. Each of the large HS pitches has its own water tap and waste outlet and even its own picnic table! The two unisex toilet/shower rooms are immaculate. There is a small enclosed area where dogs can run off lead and might even pal up with Farley the resident black lab! There is so much to do in the area - our 5 days really weren't enough. Apart from a day spent at nearby Attingham Park we walked from the site every day - you can even walk up Pontesford and Earl's Hill direct from the site, though it's a hard climb at the end! TV reception at the top end of the site was not good, which didn't matter for us but might be worth bearing in mind if it's important for you. 4G reception on Vodafone was perfect. It's a very quiet, peaceful spot and for a visit to the area would be hard to beat - we will certainly be back.
