We spent six nights here when restrictions lifted in April. Arrival was straightforward and levelling was fairly easy. The grounds are breathtaking and a delight to wake up to. I have never seen so many ducks in one place in my life!! We visited the tea rooms for our daughters birthday and they were more than accommodating. And we visited Wortley Hall’s grounds for drinks on a few occasions. The bar is well run and organised. The site is very well situated for shopping (we went to Meadowshall shopping centre) and as we would normally visit the crucible this time of year we will definitely return when we’re able to go back there. All in all a very pleasant stay. Very picturesque.
