Lovely clean site, very secure, really good contact from reception prior to arrival. Keypad entry to site and for showers/ toilets too (but we use our own). Secluded little part of the vast grounds and very pleasant walking available throughout. Loved the walled garden in autumn sunshine. The Hall has a really nice restaurant and bar food available (as well as afternoon tea). There is a safe off the road bridle track walk to the next village. However the village of Wortley itself is an easy 5 min walk and has a pub, coffee rooms, farm shop and a lovely old village church. Will happily come back here for another short break.
