Wonderful Site

We have just had a fourth stay with Brian and Josie. They are wonderful hosts and their site is always immaculate. Nothing is too much trouble for their visitors. A quiet village location with beautiful views. We enjoyed a fabulous meal at The Bull in Rodington. The Hare and Hounds and The Haughmond are also close by. We look forward to seeing Brian and Josie again in June. Highly recommended!

Couldn't have found better

We wanted a few nights away at the end of lockdown, so chose Wrekin View based on previous reviews, & could not have chosen better. Brian & Josie are are a lovely couple, so genuinely helpful & friendly, & the site, being fully serviced, is as good as any CL we've been on in many years caravanning. Good walks direct from the site, & Withington is a lovely village. Thanks for a lovely few days. Moira & Peter

Motorhome review

Excellent welcome from Brian couldn't be more helpful and the information pack he lent us for our stay was a veritable tome on the local area. He is also planning on putting two full hardstandings in later in the year. Definitely a CL to return to.

Best Site Around

This fabulous site is only 20 minutes from home for us & it's a beauty. Love everything about it! It's secure, scenic, with well spaced hardstanding pitches, water & ehu to every 2 pitches. Pub half a mile away with others very near. Good picturesque walks. What more could you ask for

What A Beautiful Gem Of A Site

This is a beautiful site in a beautiful location, with outstanding views. Brian is fantastic, such a lovely man. The hardstanding plots are well laid out. We love it & will definitely be back again. The only reason I gave 4/5 stars for the overall rating is because in the Winter when the weather has been wet, it isn't possible to take your motorhome across the grass to reach the hardstandings. We, however, just stayed at the end of the gravel track & we were fine where we were

A holiday to remember

We have just spent a very enjoyable 14 nights at Wrecking View CL, in Withington, just out side Shrewsbury. It's run by Brian and Josie who are extremely helpful and friendly. We arrived and were welcomed by Brian who showed us around and told us where everything is on site. He also gave us a folder full of information about the area, local pubs, restaurants and places of interest. The view of the Wrecking from site is lovely and to see the sun rise over it is beautiful. We visited Ironbridge and Much Wenlock amoungst other places and the whole surrounding area is lovely. Well worth a visit. Can't fault the area or the hosts. One of the best.CL's we've stayed at and would definitely recommend it and we will definitely be back.

A little gem

Our thanks to Brian for making us so welcome on this delightful little site. The place is immaculately kept, and is on the edge of a lovely village. We had lunch on a picnic bench in the garden, watching buzzards and, I think, a greater spotted woodpecker, and just took in the peace and quiet. We then had a great bike ride around the lanes, and visited Attingham Park the next day - well worth a visit. We only stayed one night, as we were passing, but we are planning to be back. This man should be giving courses on how to run a site to the owners of some larger places that we have stayed!

Even Better!

We managed 10 nights this year staying on this beautiful site, and Brian has made things even better by installing water and grey water disposal on each pitch! Not only this, but has even provided both the plastic push-on fitting for the tap, and also the brass fitting for use with a jubilee clip- this is certainly going the extra mile, and something we have never encountered on pitches costing more than twice as much! I'm forever leaving the tap fitting on the tap when leaving, so it was most welcome to see these for our use. Having a extra few days we made use of our bikes around the pretty quiet country roads surrounding the site, and on the national cycle route that passes the site. As the pitches are slightly elevated, the view across to the Wrekin is stunning, especially in the morning sunrise. Brilliant site.

Peaceful ,pretty and fabulous view.

Brian meet us on arrival and gave us a folder with all sorts of information about the surrounding area which was most useful. he was often to be seen filling up the many bird feeders and would stop for a chat .The grass was cut nice and short and there were flowers everywhere in various containers. The site is so peaceful listen out for the owl each evening, the view over to the Wrekin is lovely ,and its well worth the effort to go up it and get the view from the top. we were able to pick out the caravan site with the aid of binoculars. We will certainly be returning next time we are in the area.
