Not tranquil

We spent four nights here on this well maintained site with good views. Unfortunately the site is close to what appears to be a minor road but is in fact very busy and as it is on a steep hill, there is a great deal of traffic noise from early morning [6.15] to late at night. The site slopes quite considerably and the choice of pitch is reduced as the potentially quietest spot is occupied by TWO of the owners caravans. The Roebuck Inn, referred to in other reviews serves miniscule portions for the main meal. I have a photograph of their 'Roebuck Pie' meal that we were served with. It resembles a round meat pie with 6 small pieces of venison in it, accompanied with three very tiny pieces of broccoli and a pitiful amount of mash.
