We have been visiting Abbey Wood site for several years and it just gets better and better. This was the first time in a year that we could visit our son in London (outdoors of course). The caravan site was looking tidy and well tended. The wardens were delightful, very helpful, friendly and cheerful. Due to the Covid 19 restrictions, the site was less than half full, so it was even quieter than usual. We had to use our own shower (no problem) but, fortunately, we were able to use the site toilets. Other reviewers have referred to the transport options available. We drove to the outskirts of Greenwich, one day, and the route was not busy. We took the train a couple of times and felt reasonably comfortable - most people were following Covid guidelines, I would say at least 90% of people were wearing face masks. The trains were every 10 minutes and they were on time. We are looking forward to our next visit in a couple of months. We had a superb weekend, all in all.
