We stayed at Abbey Wood over the Easter weekend. What a lovely site - one of the nicest we have been to. The wardens were some of the best too, they were very helpful and friendly. We had tickets for the Fed Cup Tennis at the Olympic Park. Abbey Wood train station was closed for the weekend but it was really easy to get the bus to Woolwich and then the DLR to the Olympic Park. We will certainly visit Abbey Wood again, perhaps as a stopover on our way to the channel tunnel. The site was not too far from the A2 and was easy to find.
