Super convenient location.
Very good welcome as usual. We walked into town along the river which is an easy 20 minute stroll. The beach is another 10 minutes or so. Ayr council were certainly trying hard with providing rubbish bins. I've never seen so many in one space! Public toilets in town cost 30p but were good quality and very clean.
We wanted a quiet beach to visit with the dog so went down the coast to Crowburnfoot. Convenient car parking with toilet facilities.
